ADD/ADHD Computerized Testing
Summary: An objective and comprehensive multi-media (auditory and visual)
computerized Continuous Performance Test designed to accurately and
objectively assess attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity ($50 -
$75).
Computerized Audio-Visual
Continuous Performance Testing
Designed to objectively assess impulsivity, inattention and hyperactivity. Provides essential information concerning AD/HD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and learning styles, can assist in the monitoring of treatment effectiveness (i.e. pre-/post-medication and dosage, behavioural and educational interventions) - tracking progress over time, and is consistent with recognized DSM diagnostic criteria. It can help to identify AD/HD “Inattentive-Type” (often undiagnosed) as well as the “Hyperactive-Impulsive” or “Combined-Type” to ensure proper treatment. Continuous Performance Testing can also be used to distinguish attentional difficulties from behavioural or learning problems, thereby avoiding mislabelling and self-esteem concerns, enabling the client to access appropriate support services and achieve greater success.
IVA Computerized Continuous Performance Testing is “...a new
accurate cognitive test which can provide important objective data
for inclusion in the assessment of ADHD.”
